Why we say "rayon made from bamboo"
Transparency is a progressive value. So is not getting fined by the FTC.
Walk through any bedding aisle and you'll see "bamboo" everywhere. What most of those products actually contain is rayon, lyocell, or viscose: a fabric made by dissolving bamboo pulp and spinning it into fiber. It's soft, it breathes, and it sleeps cool. It is also not the same thing as a bamboo stalk.
Federal labeling rules require sellers to say so, and regulators have fined companies that didn't. We'd rather just tell you the truth up front.
What we promise
When we say organic, there's a certification behind it. When we say bamboo, we name the fiber. When we make a claim about a material, we can back it up. Fact-checked fluff isn't just a slogan. It's our labeling policy.
