We believe in science. Here's what it says about sleep.
Peer-reviewed comfort starts with actually reading the research.
Sleep researchers broadly agree that most adults need at least seven hours of sleep a night, and that many of us regularly get less. Short sleep is linked to worse mood, focus, and long-term health. None of this is controversial, which is refreshing.
Consistency beats catch-up
Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day, weekends included, helps your body clock settle into a rhythm. Sleeping in on Saturday helps less than you'd hope.
Your pillow matters more than you think
The right pillow keeps your head and neck in line with your spine. Side sleepers usually need more loft, back sleepers a medium loft, and stomach sleepers something low and soft. That's why we favor adjustable pillows: the right answer depends on the sleeper.
When to see a professional
If you snore loudly, wake up gasping, or feel exhausted no matter how long you sleep, talk to a doctor. A pillow can do a lot, but it can't replace health care. We are very clear on that point.
